Fairy Parties
Fairy parties are probably at the top of most requested theme parties for little girls. Why...because they are just so magical and special!!
We have put together a few tips and ideas on how to host an enchanting fairy party at home that your little girl will remember for years to come.
Decorations
1. Fairy Dust (sometimes known as glitter), and LOTS of it!! Sprinkle it everywhere, especially on the table (not in food) and in the area where they will most likely be playing games.
Costumes
Fairy costumes really help with the overall atmosphere at a fairy party. Ideally, the party girl will be in full fairy attire to greet her guests. For the fairy guests, there are several different ways to get them involved in the whole fairy theme, this will all depend on budget.
1. You can ask guests to come dressed in their own costumes - preferably something fairy/magical/princess related. It is good to know ahead of time if someone doesn't have a costume, then you can provide something so they don't feel left out.
2. You can provide all the costumes, this will ensure there are no arguements about which fairy outfits are better.
3. Just provide wings and/or wands..kids have great imaginations, and will make the most out of what they are given.
Food
Fairy Bread - white bread, buttered and covered in sprinkles (100's & 1000's). This is a basic nutritional requirement at all good fairy parties.
Magic Wands - plain bread sticks, one end dipped in melted chcolate, then rolled in sprinkles
Pretty Sandwiches - an assortment of sandwiches with different fillings, cut into pretty shapes using cookie cutters, eg: star, butterfly, heart etc.
